Objectives: This program will provide an overview of key housing options for older adults. Additionally, we will discuss how to begin developing a plan for where you or your older relatives will live. Finally, we hope to inspire you to be a prepared caregiver or consumer.
Sandra S. Rinaldi, MS, LPC
Sandra has worked in the social services field, with older adults, for more than 20 years.
She holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Social Work. She has held various positions throughout her career in aging which includes her work as a case manager/social worker for a home health agency, an assistant director of a senior center and currently as the vice president of aging resources for Senior Services, Inc.
Crystal L. Norman, MHA
Crystal Norman is the Program Coordinator for Elder Care Choices, a division of Senior Services Inc. and has over twelve years’ experience in long-term care. In her current role, she assists employees who are caring for an older adult with resource options, Medicare questions, and long-term care education. Within this role, she receives continued training for Medicare counseling through the Senior Health Insurance Information Program, also known as SHIIP. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Chapel Hill and Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Winston-Salem State University. Crystal is a Tarheel fan and a mother to Vera, her 2-year-old daughter.
